Exquisite technique, unusual interpretative imagination, perfect play – music critics vastly compliment Carl Petersson, a Swede with Polish roots on his mother's side. The young pianist received his education at the Royal Academy in Copenhagen under Jose Ribery, as well as during numerous master classes by world leading pianists. He is a winner of many competitions including the prestigious Isman Family Prize granted in Israel.
The artist has performed repeatedly as a soloist and with orchestras in Sweden, Denmark, Poland, France, Czech Republic, Germany, China, Hong Kong and Taiwan, as well as in the USA. He has recorded several albums, including compositions by Friedrich von Flotow which he performed with the Pilsen Philharmonic Orchestra. This album was recognised by reviewers and received highest rankings in such magazines as ‘The Gramophone’, ‘Klassikmagazin’, ‘Klassieke Zaken’ and ‘Diapason’.
Carl Petersson is a virtuoso playing with humour in a brilliant way. He chooses his repertoire boldly and surprisingly.
