The Szczecin Philharmonic warmly extends an invitation to another concert in the Intermezzo series in the chamber hall. This time our local artists will perform for the audience. Gustaw Ciężarek is a graduate of Szczecin music schools, and who took part in the master classes by Professors Konstanty Andrzej Kulka and Mirosław Ławrynowicz at the Music Academy in Warsaw, where he perfected his skill. He participated many a time in master classes in Łańcut, Zakopane and Frombork, where he perfected his talent under such masters as Marina Yashvili, Roland Baldini and Helen Brunner. He has been repeatedly recognised at musical festivals. In 2011 he recorded his debut album with pianist Soyeon Lim and was released by Acte Prealable. Since 2008 he has been concert master at the Witold Lutosławski Chamber Philharmonic in Łomża. He is a favourite of the Szczecin audiences.
Before he began his studies at the University of Music in Warsaw under Professor Andrzeja Gębski, Gwidon Ciężarek also received an education in the Szczecin music schools. Every year he takes part in master classes in Łańcut. Many a time he has received awards at national and international violin competitions.
This Szczecin violin duo will present a classical repertoire in the company of the Szczecin Youth Chamber Orchestra SMOK.
