A combination of the wonder of music and technique – wrote 'Daily Telegraph', accompanied by 'Washington Post' describing him as an extraordinary phenomenon. Coming from Yerevan, the cellist Narek Hakhnazaryan is successfully performing on both sides of the Atlantic. The career of this young musician accelerated in 2011 when he won a gold medal at the International Tchaikovsky Competition.
Since then he has performed with the best orchestras in the world (London, Chicago, Rotterdam, Seoul and Toronto). In 2014 he was called BBC New Generation Artist. He regularly takes part in performances broadcast by BBC Radio 3. This Armenian cellist will put the audience into a Christmas mood by creating, together with the orchestra, a winter landscape of Tchaikovsky's symphony and 'A Winter's Tale' by Swedish composer Lars-Erik Larsson.
