If Chopin is the main ambassador of Polish music for the Romantic period, then Liszt is undeniably the Hungarian equivalent. These two genial pianists, composers of totally different sensitivity, were creating an image of European culture in the 19th century.
During the Hungarian Culture Year celebrated in Poland, the most reknown compositions of these European ambassadors are a must. Hungarian pianist Gergely Bogányi will present his interpretation of the lyrical Concerto in F-minor. He is also a great multi-instrumentalist and creator of the revolutionary futuristic piano known as the bat-piano.
The concert takes place within the Hungarian Culture Year in Poland.
