Jan Walczyński is an arranger, composer and conductor known to philharmonic audiences across the country. Since 1986 he has presented original programs in philharmonic halls. Many concerts focused on film music, such as "Music from the Westerns," "Gangster Music," "Music from Romantic Films," and "Ennio Morricone's Film Music".
Jan Walczyński is also famous for epic programs for children and young people. During such shows, themes from "Snow White and the Dwarfs", "The Lion King" and "The Lord of the Rings" appear. In addition, the artist also presents his own music, composed as a sound illustration for the well-known and beloved fairy tales of Brzechwa and Tuwim. This concert is a musical illustration of the fairy tale "Beauty and the Beast” presented to young audience at the Philharmonic of Szczecin.

Mikołaj Rykowski PhD
Musicologist and clarinetist, doctorate, and associate at the Department Music Theory at the Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań. Author of a book and numerous articles devoted to the phenomenon of Harmoniemusik – the 18th-century practice of brass bands. Co-author of the scripts "Speaking concerts" and author of the spoken introductions to philharmonic concerts in Szczecin, Poznań, Bydgoszcz and Łódź.
