The King's Singers is one of the most famous vocal ensembles in the world. Its history dates back to 1968. In this elite group so far has sung 25 musicians, always in a sextet. The artists travel thousands of kilometers to sing over 120 concerts each year in the finest halls of America, Europe, Asia and Australia.
Great sense of rhythm, perfect harmony and flawless intonation make the singers top-notch entertainers.
Over 200 works have been composed for and dedicated to the ensemble – by, among others, Krzysztof Penderecki, James MacMillan, Tōru Takemitsu, John Tavener and Eric Whitacre. Numerous compositions of jazz, rock and pop have been arranged specially for them.
