The idea behind the compositions for this project was born in a small Baptist church in Wrocław. The unique atmosphere of the temple and its rare acoustics had affected the tone and compositional plan of the created pieces.
These compositions are a combination of twentieth-century classical music and contemporary music. They involve experiment, improvisation and sound-art.
Piotr Damasiewicz has performed with the most prominent artists of the improvised music scene and was a guest at major European jazz festivals.
He has written music for theatre, film, and also co-wrote the jazz anthem to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Europe Jazz Network.
