"Przeżyj to sam", "Szklana pogoda", or "Droga Pani z Telewizji" – everyone has heard the songs. For 35 years so far, the Lombard band has stirred the fans of the rock'n'roll scene.
Its origins are connected with our city: in July 1981 in the studio of Polish Radio Szczecin the band recorded the first three compositions whose presence on air of Channel I and III of the Polish Radio garnered the band a considerable success. Moreover, it was at the Szczecin Philharmonic where the band recorded their "Live" album, regarded as one of the best live albums created in Poland in the 1980s.
"Lombard, No borders" is a jubilee project, which will have its premiere at the Szczecin Philharmonic. "The well known and popular hits of Lombard will be transformed by the magical sounds of strings, we will spice up the groovy sounds of wind instruments with a hint of jazz piano, and colour them with the characteristic sounds of analog keyboards and electric guitar" – as the musicians assure.
