Every year the Mieczyslaw Karlowicz Philharmonic in Szczecin invites young musicians from Poland and other countries of the world to participate in orchestral workshops under the guidance of renowned instrumentalists and educators.

We are thrilled to announce that the ILYO project has been given the honorary patronage of the Witold Lutosławski Society in Warsaw. The Society was founded in 1999 as the initiative of influential artists associated with our patron and aims to promote his music around the world. In response to numerous questions and requests, we decided to open standard recruitment for musicians playing brass instruments. French horn players, trombone players, trumpet players and tuba players will be able to apply for ILYO on the same terms as other musicians. The recruitment form for the brass section will be available from March 10. Read more

International Lutosławski Youth Orchestra will meet in 2023 for the 11th time! In the year in which we celebrate the 110th anniversary of the birth of our patron – Witold Lutosławski, our orchestral workshops will take place between August 20 and 25, 2023.

On August 23, the public, the all-German radio – Deutschlandfunk Kultur broadcast on air ILYO’s acclaimed concert at the Young Euro Classic festival.
