ILYO will play at the Krzysztof Penderecki European Centre for Music in Lusławice
Since three editions of the project, the second concert of the International Lutosławski Youth Orchestra has become a permanent part of our orchestral workshops. In 2022 we played at the Berlin Konzerthaus, last year at the National Forum of Music in Wrocław and now we will go to the Krzysztof Penderecki European Centre for Music in Lusławice.
The Centre was established in 2005 on the initiative of the composer himself. From the beginning it was guided by the idea of inspiring the most talented young musicians to improve their skills and strive for full artistic maturity. Master classes, solo, chamber and orchestral workshops are held here regularly. But the Krzysztof Penderecki European Centre for Music is also a thriving orchestral stage. Only in the last few years, artists such as Anne Sophie-Mutter, Lawrence Foster, Yamen Saadi, Apollon Musagète Quartet, Agata Szymczewska and Danjulo Ishizaka, as well as the Bergen Youth Orchestra and Sinfonia Varsovia have performed here. We are very happy that the International Lutosławski Youth Orchestra will also join this list.
