This unique ensemble of musicians of the young generation has been performing on international stages in Europe for nine years. Tomasz Daroch, Wojciech Fudala, Krzysztof Karpeta and Adam Krzeszowiec present the original sound of a homogeneous cello quartet.
Interestingly, we can learn from them not only the outstanding sense of aesthetics of sound. Artists prefer a democratic model of cooperation on stage. They regularly exchange individual parts – the specificity of their ensemble's composition allows this.
They studied with leading cello educators in Poland and the world. They gained artistic experience in renowned cultural centres, including Cologne, Mannheim and Brussels. Each of them has numerous prizes in cello and chamber music competitions.
The repertoire of the Polish Cello Quartet primarily includes works originally composed for a cello quartet. The concert in Szczecin will be no different. In particular, we are waiting for Offenbachiana II by Piotr Moss, whom we recently hosted in our Philharmonic. The neo-classical Tansman and the impressionist ‘Ballade and Rhapsody for four cellos’ will also be the true decorations of the evening.
