A softly tongued articulation, a greatest agility, an extremely self-confident embouchure, a coloratura style… a soloist of this quality refines every piece of music”, wrote the Austrian newspaper Salzburger Nachrichten about him. The Hungarian Gábor Boldoczki with his brilliant play is an exceptional trumpeter of his generation. The international press also call him a magnificent trumpet virtuoso. The German newspaper Süddeutsche Zeitung called him a worthy successor to the king of the trumpet, Maurice André.
A very important point in his biography is the 2004 Salzburg Festival – Boldoczki was the first trumpet soloist in the world to be invited to perform the trumpet concerts by Michael Haydn. He gives regularly performances in Berlin, Vienna, Lucerne and Budapest. He follows concert invitations to South America, Japan and China. He feels good performing both classical and contemporary repertoire.
Boldoczki will be accompanied by the Szczecin Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra conducted by Ramon Tebar.
