Apollon Musagète Quartett – the best ambassadors of Polish chamber music. AMQ was established in 2006 in Vienna, where members of the quartet studied chamber music with musicians of the famous Alban Berg Quartett. The team is open to collaboration with artists outside the circle of classical music, as exemplified by recording the album "Night of Hunters" in 2011 together with singer and pianist Tori Amos. This album was on top of the "Billboard" classical albums chart, while being in the top ten in two other categories (rock and alternative). In 2012-2014, the band was involved in BBC Radio 3 program "New Generation Artists". In 2014 Apollon Musagète Quartet was awarded the "Paszport Polityki" ["Polityka Passport" – award of one of the most popular Polish weekly newsmagazines] and the British Borletti-Buitoni Trust Award. AMQ released five albums, among others for Deutsche Grammophon and Decca.
