The first concert in the MISTERIOSO series in the Chamber Hall, widely appreciated for its excellent acoustics. In the lunar scenery, we will hear the sound of flute, violin and cello with piano accompaniment.
César Franck, a representative of the romantic tradition of French music, was extremely appreciated for its mastery of organist-improviser: Ferenc Liszt compared Franck's talent to master Bach himself, from the early works of the first piano trio also received high appreciation from Liszt. After a series of chamber works by Franck abandoned this kind of music for over thirty years. It was only thanks to the works created in the late period of his work why he was named the father of French chamber music. One of the most famous and appreciated works is the Sonata in A major for violin and piano: it underwent numerous arrangements, among others, for cello, viola, saxophone or flute.
