Tender Strings | Natalia Kukulska plays Chopin

The premiere of the latest project by Natalia Kukulska. ‘Tender Strings’ (Czułe struny) is an intimate meeting with the works of Fryderyk Chopin and the world of romantic music, to which the best Polish arrangers and valued songwriters were invited.

As if it was yesterday! So recently we celebrated the Chopin Year with a great bang, and actually, ten years have passed. There went another birthday of the greatest Polish composer. Natalia Kukulska joins the group of stars inspired by his music in her latest project. The list of Polish artists and creators standing behind it is impressive.

Artists of all musical genres have been working with the works of Frederic Chopin for decades, beginning with the classics, through jazz, ending with pop music. This is because Chopin in his works not only deeply expresses what is Polish, but also uses a great musical language, which is still close to people around the world today.

The ‘Tender Strings’ project is a collection of works of Fryderyk Chopin selected by Natalia Kukulska in consultation with the best Polish arrangers. These compositions became the material of new studies. The resulting versions are symphonic works with an extensive character in terms of the means and instrumentation used. But it is not everything. The compositions have also gained completely new text layers.
