Mateusz Czarnowski’s compositions will be included on the album titled “And they lived happily and in Szczecin” (in Polish “I żyli długo i w Szczecinie”). These pieces have homely titles for Szczecin dwellers: “Orion’s freckles”, “Shipyard ZOO”, “Chocolate city” and “Not by the seaside”.
Children who won in the casting held in the chamber hall of the Philharmonic on 19th March will sing on the record.
A promotional concert of the album “And they lived happily and in Szczecin” will take place on 13th August at the Summer Amphitheatre in Szczecin. It will be a great opportunity to hear these songs live performed by the Szczecin Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra with the young vocalists.
