Mateusz Feliński - brass section - NFM Wrocław Philharmonic
First horn of the NFM Wrocław Philharmonic (since 1998) and member of the LutosAir Quintet wind quintet (since 2013), with which he performed at the most important Polish festivals, such as: Warsaw Autumn, Wratislavia Cantans and Poznań Musical Spring, as well as in England, Germany and Denmark. With this ensemble, he also recorded several albums with 20th and 21st century music, the last of which was nominated for the Fryderyk Award.
Mateusz Feliński was born in 1977 in Kożuchów. He began his musical education at the age of 9 at the G. Bacewicz Primary Music School in Nowa Sól in the class of J. Gabryelski. He is a graduate of the J. Kaliszewska Secondary Music School in Poznań (Poznań School of Talents). In 2000 he graduated from the K. Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław in W. Grochowski's class. He was also a scholarship holder of the National Children's Fund.
He played with many orchestras in the country. As a soloist, he performed with the Polish Sinfonia Iuventus Orchestra and the NFM Wrocław Philharmonic. He is also known for being active in pop music, collaborating with, among others, with P. Wojtasik, K. Groniec, N. Kołodziejczyk and the bands like Mikromusic, Nervy and Cyrk Deriglasoff.
He also cooperates with the Capitol Musical Theater in Wrocław.
