Anna Farysej - soloist
Soprano Anna Farysej is a graduate of the Manhattan School of Music in New York under the supervision of professor Mignon Dunn. She is currently a third-year doctoral student at the University of Music in Warsaw in the class of professor Eugenia Rozlach.
In her career she has sung such parts as:
Hanna in "The Haunted Manor" by S. Moniuszko
Juliette in "Roméo et Juliette" by Ch. Gounod
Despina in "Cosi fan tutte" by W. A. Mozart
Soprano solo in "Requiem" by W. A. Mozart
Sonia Gonzalez in the premiere of "An American Soldier" by H. Ruo.
Frasquita in "Carmen" by G. Bizet
In 2017, she won second place and a special award for special stage aptitude at the Golden Voices International Competition in Warsaw.
In 2015, she was the winner of the Bel Canto Vocal Competition in the United States.
She perfects her vocal skills by participating in vocal masterclasses and interpretative courses in Poland and abroad, led by such eminent vocal authorities as Diana Soviero, Catherine Malfitano, Teresa Żylis-Gara, Helena Łazarska, Eva Blahová, Anita Garanca, Renato Bruson, Thomas Hampson, Valentin Peytchinov and others.
In addition to operatic roles, her repertoire includes oratorio music: "Stabat Mater" by G. B.
Pergolesi, "Stabat Mater" by G. Rossini, "Gloria" by F. Poulenc, "Carmina Burana" by C. Orff; and a wide range of lyrical songs.
