We've been fighting for it for months. Thanks to the financial support of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage of the Republic of Poland, today we can announce that our dream has come true. We are extremely happy that our young musicians will have the opportunity to play in one of the most prestigious concert halls in Poland – the Main Hall of the National Forum of Music in Wrocław, which hosted such artists as Lang Lang, Sir Simon Rattle, Martha Argerich, Anne-Sophie Mutter, Piotr Anderszewski, Christoph Eschenbach, Esy-Pekki Salonen, to name just a few, and the best orchestras in the world, such as the Berliner Philharmoniker, Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, London Symphony Orchestra and Wiener Philharmoniker. We are extremely proud that our youth orchestra will also be listed in this elite group.

The fact that this year, as in the previous year, ILYO will play two final concerts does not affect the date of the workshops themselves. Anticipating any questions, we confirm that this year our orchestral workshops will take place between August 20 and 25. We would also like to remind you that until May 15th we accept applications from young musicians from Poland, Europe and the world who would like to experience the amazing moments that await us. Despite the additional concert and related costs, participation in the ILYO project remains completely free for all participants.

Important dates:
May 15, at 23:59 Polish time – end of recruitment
May 22 – announcement of the results and the line-up of the orchestra
August 20 – the beginning of the workshop in the Szczecin Philharmonic
August 24 – ILYO concert in the Main Hall of the National Forum of Music in Wrocław
August 25 – ILYO concert in the golden hall of the Szczecin Philharmonic and the end of the workshops.
