How to remember this brand, having only the sphere of sounds at your disposal? A sound logo comes to the rescue – a recognizable musical theme that makes you faultlessly associate a melody with a given product. The MUSIC.DESIGN.FORM festival has now received its characteristic musical identifier, a festival jingle based on well thought out sound code.
The most important aspect in musical themes playing the role of sound logo, is the ease of remembering them and that they quickly "fall into the ear". The artistic concept that accompanies their creation is of lesser significance, although the composer's approach is often interesting. It is enough to quote one of the last unfinished works of Johann Sebastian Bach – "Die Kunst der Fuge". The theme of the final fugue from the collection was based on the following notes: B-A-C-H, in which it is not difficult to see the correlation with the creator's surname.
The musical identification of the MUSIC.DESIGN.FORM festival was created by Mateusz Czarnowski, and is also based on an entirely non-accidental motif of three notes corresponding to the short name of the event – MDF. Musical development of the abbreviation is reflected in the naming of solmization: Mi-Do-Fa, which corresponds to the sounds: E-C-F. These are the core of the musical logo and festival jingle, held in three different musical versions: minimalistic, electronic and symphonic. Each version was created for the artists taking part in the festival and the various event contexts.
