On New Year's Eve and New Year, the Philharmonic invites you to a travel in time to the magic 1920s. Elegant ladies and charming gentlemen will hear the sounds of the most fashionable classical jazz in those days as well as swinging rhythms. The musical world will have two hits – Polish and American. The program includes the repertoire of Mieczysław Fogg, Eugene Bodo and Frank Sinatra. The songs, as always, speak of life, love and longing.

The 20s was a time of a mysterious fog. New York, Paris, Warsaw. Places pulsating with social life. In the United States such hits as "Night and Day" and "Cheek to Cheek" were being played, while in Poland Eugeniusz Bodo in Warsaw sang songs that will always remain in our memory. Who does not know "Sex appeal" or "I’m meeting her at 7" (in Polish “Umówiłem się z nią na dziewiątą”?
These and other well-known songs will be performed in completely new orchestral arrangements by Daniel Nosewicz ( a young but already acknowledged arranger, composer and conductor) and the Szczecin Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra. Zosia Nowakowska, Rafał Drozd and Jakub Szydłowski, Szczecin natives (artists of the Roma Theatre), and the well-known and beloved Sylwia Różycka (actress of the Polish Theater in Szczecin) will also perform in the Golden Hall that “moonlit dark night”.
Tickets for the New Year's Eve and New Year’s concerts are available at ticket office as well as online.
