In the announcement the Philharmonic received, we read “the concert has to be cancelled because of
medical reasons. The state of health will not improve in the foreseeable future. Klaus Schulze is in constant medical treatment.” We have also received a copy of the medical certificate.
We are terribly sorry about the whole situation, which we have no influence on.
To compensate the fans for any inconvenience connected with the cancellation of the Klaus Schulze concert, and to aptly finish the SoundLab series, which has become extremely popular with many fans during the passing season, the Philharmonic in Szczecin has decided to invite Tangerine Dream, a band Klaus Schulze cooperated with (the suggestion to invite this band appeared during the talks with Schulze’s representatives).
Despite the death of Edgar Froese, Tangerine Dream’s founder in January 2015, the latest material he had been working on, will see the light of day and will be performed live as expressed in his last will. The June concert at the Philharmonic in Szczecin will be taking place first after Froese’s departure and will be fully devoted to him.
Those of you, who would like to attend the concert:
