Richard Devine is one of the most outstanding contemporary sound designers and composers of electronic music. He will perform in Poland for the first time ever in concert as part of the SoundLab series.

The artist is known, most of all, as an uncompromising musical visionary, composer and sound trendsetter. His experiments often extremely exceed commonly accepted musical genres and conventions.
He is a protege of Richard D. James, who he is often compared with. Richard D. James is also known as Aphex Twin and part of the duet – Autechre. He has cooperated with Trent Reznor from Nine Inch Nails, Mike Patton from Faith No More and with Mathew Herbert.
Devine has also created scripts and libraries for the world's biggest brands in the music and technology industries: Korg, Moog, Ableton Live and Native Instruments.
In his discography are many highly valued records released by the major experimental labels, such as Hymen Records, Detroit Underground and the cult label Warp.
The artist's undertakings encompass various sciences: music, maths and field recording, and these can be followed on his social media channels: Vimeo and Soundcloud.
The concert will take place on 10th March at the symphonic hall as part of the SoundLab series of the Philharmonic Laboratory of Electronic Music.
