Repertoire changes in March concerts

In the NOSKOWSKI | TCHAIKOVSKY | BRAHMS concert (former name BRUCKNER | Bergmann) dated 03.04.2022, the program has changed.

Instead of a composition:

• Anton Bruckner – Symphony No. 8 in C minor,

we will hear:

• Zygmunt Noskowski, Lake in the Tatras, Op.19
• Pyotr Tchaikovsky, Variations on a Rococo Theme for cello and orchestra, Op. 33
• Johannes Brahms Symphony No. 4 in E minor, Op. 98

In the BEETHOVEN | SCHUMANN concert (former name RACHMANINOFF | TCHAIKOVSKY) dated 11.03.2022, the program has changed.

Instead of compositions:

• Sergey Rachmaninoff – Piano Concerto No. 3 in D minor, Op. 30
• Pyotr Tchaikovsky – Symphony No. 6 in B minor, Op. 74 Pathétique,

we will hear:

• Ludwig van Beethoven – Piano Concerto No. 5 in E flat major, Op. 73
• Robert Schumann – Symphony No. 4 in D minor, Op. 120

In the SCHUMANN | SHOSTAKOVICH concert (former name SHOSTAKOVICH | PROKOFIEV) dated 18.03.2022, the program has changed.

Instead of compositions:

• Dmitri Shostakovich – Violin Concerto No. 1 in A minor, Op. 77
• Sergey Prokofiev – Fragments from the ballet music "Cinderella",

we will hear:

• Robert Schumann – Violin Concerto in D minor
• Dmitri Shostakovich – Symphony No. 9

In the WEBER | STRAUSS | HALVORSEN concert (former name KUUSAVA | COLLARD) dated 25/03/2022, the program has changed.

Instead of compositions:

• Jean Sibelius – Symphonic Poem Finland, Op. 26
• Richard Strauss – Concerto for horn and orchestra No. 2 in E flat major, Op. 86
• Pyotr Tchaikovsky – Symphony No. 4 in F minor, Op. 36

we will hear:

• Carl Maria von Weber Overture to the opera "Der Freischütz"
• Richard Strauss, French horn Concerto No. 2
• Johan Halvorsen "Suite ancienne"
