May weekend with the Philharmonic

The beginning of the most beautiful month of the year will bring three days full of music. On May 1st, a chamber ensemble composed of the musicians from the Philharmonic Orchestra will perform on the stage of the Chamber Hall. Filippo del Noce (flute), Izabela Kokosińska (oboe), Bogusław Jakubowski (clarinet), Edyta Moroz (bassoon), Katarzyna Sułkowska (French horn), Dorota Maciszczyk (piano) and Anna Gieralowska (recitation) will perform works of Tadeusz Szeligowski, Aleksander Tansman and Grażyna Bacewicz and many others.

On May 2nd, the Szczecin Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Daniel Nosewicz will perform the greatest hits of the interwar period. In the interpretation of Sylwia Różycka, Zofia Nowakowska, Wojciech Myrczek and Jakub Szydłowski, we will hear such melodies as: Sex appeal, At the first sign, You will never forget me.

On the 3rd of May,The Constitution Day, the program of a special concert will include works by Witold Lutosławski, Grażyna Bacewicz and Aleksander Tansman.
You will have an opportunity to listen to all the May concerts on Facebook and YouTube of the Philharmonic. All broadcasts are scheduled to start at 7:00 PM.

May with the Masters

Chopin, Richard Strauss, Debussy and Mozart – these are only some of the composers whose works will be performed on the stage of the Philharmonic in May. In addition, we are preparing a real treat for the lovers of electronic music. On May 15th, as part of the SoundLab series, the legend of new sounds, Derrick May, will perform with the Philharmonic Orchestra. The Libelid project, which is the series of love songs in Yiddish compiled by Ola Bilińska with the accompaniment of the team of experienced musicians from Gdańsk, Warsaw and Sejny, will take us to completely different areas of contemporary art.

EduPhilharmonic

As always in May, the Education Center will not disappoint you, as it has prepared the series of events for young and old music lovers. The meetings with Raniutto workshops and educational concerts are waiting for you. The third edition of the EduVirtuoso series will bring a lot of emotions, this time full of music and dance! Young and talented dancers selected in the casting will present their skills to the accompaniment of the Szczecin Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra. During the concert, the audience will have the opportunity to choose their favorites by voting. As befits a real talent show, there will be competition, emotions and amazing energy of the concert participants
