Experimenting with the flavours of music can be stunning and we will see about it on Sunday, February 7 at 5 p.m. during the family concert : Blender- a musical art of mixing” Feel more than welcome to visit our Facebook channel and a new YouTube channel of EduPhilharmonic.
Combining flavors in the kitchen is like combining different songs and sounds in music, which we decided to prove and explain during a family concert. We have compared the works of famous composers – Mozart, Grieg, Stravinsky and Ravel to five tastes – salty, sweet, sour, bitter and umami . Next, these basic flavors were played by an orchestra. Sour with salty, umami with bitter, sour with sweet ... What came out of it? Our hosts – Agata Kolasińska and Paweł Loroch – who know culinary and music as well as hardly anyone, will prove that these mixes are real musical delights!
The February family concert will be full of symphonic classics, which, thanks to the composer Mateusz Czarnowski, will be heard for the first time in a mixed version. They can seem to sound a bit weird, but believe us – they taste delicious! Each flavor-piece has been additionally marked with an appropriate colored light, so that it is even easier to identify the taste and act on the imagination of our younger and older music lovers.
Exploring and experimenting with flavors – both in the kitchen and in music – makes great sense and can bring you some stunning results! We will find out about it on
