Bartosz Sikorski’pieces of art result from the tight connections of music and visual arts. The works of Sikorski are the effects of recognition and understanding of the resemblance between the structures of musical or visual pieces of work and the ways of creating them. For instance, the brush marks creating the vertical planes on the canvas are compared to the moves of the bow bringing the sound out of the double bass.
On the The Reboot of the Digisaur” exhibition we can find such pieces of works as: the polyptychs created as the installations which are made from paintings-totems supporting the walls; sound compositions, sound-art installations, video projections and sound installations as well. Worth mentioning is the fact that on that exhibition we can also admire the premiere of "Kanalizacja Tłumiona" 24 audio channel sound sculpture.
The virtual 3D walk around the Gallery Poziom 4, where the Sikorski works are presented, can be taken from 19th January. More details regarding the access to the 3D gallery will be given soon.
In the meantime we are more than pleased to invite you for the meeting with the artist. Bartosz Sikorski himself was so kind to tell us about his works of art.
