How many windows are there in the entire building? Why is the Chamber Hall known as the Moon Hall? What world celebrities were hosted on the stage of the Symphony Hall? We will answer these and other questions. We invite you to an intensive week full of sightseeing in June, and then after the summer break – in August.
The summer period, like every year, is a break from artistic events at the Philharmonic in Szczecin. The break does not mean, however, that the speeding philharmonic machine stops working – on the contrary. In addition to programming and planning subsequent concerts, every year we dedicate the holidays to cleaning and restoration work. For over a month, inspection and maintenance of stage technical equipment, washing, painting, cleaning and vacuuming of inaccessible spaces, scraping or oiling of parquets will be continued.
However, before we start the holiday cleaning, we invite you to visit the building in the last week of June. Every day from 24th to 28th June we invite you to guided tours in three rounds: at 13.00, 14.00 and 15.00. Visits at 14.00 will be held in English.
Each trip takes about 40 minutes. The tour starts in the Lobby of the Philharmonic and includes a screening of a film in the Chamber Hall, the Symphony Hall, Level 4 Gallery, as well as our shop with souvenirs, books and CDs.
Individual tourists (small groups, families) can take part in the sightseeing of the Philharmonic. It is not necessary to book tickets. The guided tour will take place regardless of the number of participants who come on a given time and day. A ticket for 5 PLN can be purchased half an hour before each round of the tour.
In the case of groups of more than 20 people, please contact us via email:
zwiedzanie@filharmonia.szczecin.pl or phone +48 48 91 431 07 27.
