Auditions open
We have opened the auditions for the International Lutosławski Youth Orchestra 2024, which means that from today, i.e. March 1 to April 30, you can take part in our 100% online auditions for our unique orchestral workshop. The auditions results and the line-up of ILYO 2024 will be annouced on May 17. The workshop will take place between August 18 and 24.
International Lutosławski Youth Orchestra, the only fully international youth orchestra in Poland, announces auditions for all instrumental sections.
Short instruction how to join our summer orchestral workshop:
NOTE: this year, interested violinists can apply for the position of concertmaster. To do this, in the instrument selection field in the application form, select "violin – concertmaster" as the instrument and attach an additional recording (check the SHEET MUSIC tab). Each person who applies for the position of concertmaster (violin) will also be considered as a regular candidate for the violin group.
Short instruction how to join our summer orchestral workshop:
- Go to the SHEET MUSIC tab and check what pieces are required in the recruitment process. Download sheet music and prepare the required recordings.
- Prepare your CV in PDF or docx format.
- Till April 30, fill out and send the application form. Attach your CV and provide links to your videos (upload them on YouTube as unlisted videos)
- Information about the recruitment results will be announced on May 17.
